Dentist Dr. Priscila Quito in Orlando, FL
Dr. Priscila Quito was born in Cuenca, Ecuador. Ecuador is a small country in South America rich in biodiversity due to its four regions: the Andes Mountains, Amazon Rainforest, Pacific Coast, and Galápagos Islands. When she was eleven years old, she moved to Orlando, Florida, where she quickly had to adapt to a new culture while learning English. Now, she speaks English and Spanish fluently. She is the eldest of four, despite the obstacles she faced while achieving the American Dream and becoming a dentist, she never gave up and now owns her own dental practice in the Windermere area.
Education and Training
Attended the University of Central Florida, graduating Cum Laude Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Business Administration
Attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA
Completed a one-year General Practice Residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, NY, where she gained proficiency in:
– Surgical extractions
– Molar root canal treatments
– Prosthetics
Dr. Quito is licensed to practice dentistry in the states of Florida and New York.
Experience and Philosophy
As a friendly, caring, and passionate general dentist focused on preventive, quality care, Dr. Quito has been practicing in the Orlando area for five years. She is determined and compassionate, like the hardness of the tooth’s enamel and the sensitivity of its pulp. Dr. Quito continues to take continuing education courses to keep up with today’s technology and advances in dental techniques in order to provide the best care to her patients.
Outside the Office
When she is not working, Dr. Quito likes to spend time with her family and her dog named Rocky. She likes to try new cuisine whenever she travels and enjoys watching soccer, especially the Premier League. She looks forward to working with you to take care of your dental needs.
